Hi, I’m Kim.
I am a photographer based in Lucerne, Switzerland.
My passion for photography began in my early 20s, during which I lived and travelled throughout Europe before finally settling in London to pursue a BA in Photography at London College of Communication, affiliated with the University of the Arts London. Since graduating, I have been exploring coasts, hiking up mountains, and traveling along some of the world's most beautiful roads.
My work centers around escapism, using photography to slow down and capture the beauty that surrounds us. My parents and grandparents instilled in me a love for adventure, which has led me to embark on many unplanned expeditions across the globe. With a playful gaze and an array of cameras, both digital and analogue, I have captured various scenes on foot, by car, and on motorbike.
My series, 'Travelling Cars,' has garnered worldwide recognition, having been featured in prestigious media outlets such as the BBC, The Guardian, Spiegel, ABCnews, Euromaxx, Lonely Planet, and many others. Additionally, my work has been exhibited for five years at Basel's Museum of Culture.
My clients and partners include Leica, Hertz, Huawei, Netflix, Toyota, BMW as well as tourism boards such as Tourism Ireland, Switzerland, Germany (GNTO), Visit California, Finland and Japan.
